Cowboy Christmas & NFR 2024: A Celebration of Custom Design, FAN-ily Love, Western Heritage and Unforgettable Moments
At The Original Windmill Ceiling Fan & Lighting Co., we believe every home deserves a masterpiece. Returning for our third year as a proud event sponsor at the National Finals Rodeo 2024 in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada we rolled happily back into Cowboy Christmas BOOTH 831 with our biggest, boldest, and best display yet. In exciting partnership with our sister company, Ranch & Co. Interiors, we pushed the boundaries of Western-inspired design, creating an unforgettable experience that had visitors tipping their hats and exclaiming “WOW!”

Our new collection of custom Windmill Ceiling Fans transforms every space into a bold statement of raw Western beauty and modern sophistication. The Buschwacker Windmill Ceiling Fan immediately stole the show with its daring blend of Weathered Barn Red and Rustic Black. Each hand-painted blade, adorned with intricately embossed longhorns, pays homage to the rugged heritage of cowboy country. Attendees were captivated by the motor’s floral pomegranate leather embossing—a regal accent that set this finish apart.

For fans of organic textures, the Driftwood Windmill Ceiling Fan was a true work of art. Every blade was meticulously hand-painted to echo the natural knots and grain of coastal driftwood, shifting elegantly between soft grays and warm browns. Its motor, embossed in hard rock stone leather with subtle barbed wire details, struck the perfect balance between rugged charm and refined elegance.

Not to be outdone, the Jesse James Windmill Ceiling Fan—a bona fide outlaw in design—featured a Weathered Crackled Grey finish with Patina Bronze accents, enveloped in luxurious Gator Hornback Jamaican Bay Leather. The Refined Western masterfully blended rich rust, vibrant copper, burnt umber, and polished bronze, crowned with crackled gold blade tips and a floral leather-embossed motor cover.

Then theres the Stampede Windmill Ceiling Fan stole the spotlight with its rich hues and golden, hand-painted embossed running horses galloping with every spin. And, of course, Buffalo Bill Windmill Ceiling Fan finish roamed wild with hand-painted gradients from warm rust to bold black edges, enhanced by intricate mini brands and genuine saddle leather details.

But our showcase didn’t stop at ceiling fans. This year, we also launched our custom chandeliers under the Luxury of Lighting series—unveiling eight breathtaking designs for 2025 that promise to redefine elegance in any home.

The excitement was palpable. Our booth buzzed with activity as FAN-ily members and curious visitors shared their own Windmill Ceiling Fan stories and celebrated our craftsmanship.

A standout moment was our collaboration with the famous Saint Honoré Doughnut & Beignet, whose custom donuts—featuring our Windmill Ceiling Fan logo, the NFR logo, and all-American sprinkles—added a sweet, playful twist to the event.

Adding to the excitement, Yellowstone actor Mo Brings Plenty visited our booth for a few photos, signatures, and a chat with our longtime friend and 3x World Bareback Riding Champion, Tim O’Connell, co-owner at Ranch & Co. Interiors.

And in a highlight of the event, we announced the winner of our giveaway: for the 96-inch Cattleman Windmill Ceiling Fan with Bullet Holes and a custom NFR embossed motor. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our booth and participated in this years Cowboy Christmas Windmill Ceiling Fan Giveaway!
Without further delay we are so excited to share that this years winner was the Frey Family! Congratulations to the Freys of Frey Ranch Whiskey Farmers!
